Register

.tr registration with a stored or inline registrant, custom nameservers, 1–5 year terms.

Transfer in

One call with just the domain and its EPP code. Free for most .tr extensions.

Renew

Independent renewal, 1–5 years.

`.tr`, done right

.tr behaves differently from gTLDs. aakapi models those differences correctly.

Transfer and renew are independent

Unlike gTLDs, a .tr transfer adds no time to the registration. The API handles this correctly.

Documents-required extensions

For av.tr, bel.tr, dr.tr and similar, the API tells you when a registration is reserved pending document submission.

Turkish registrant rules

TCKN / VKN, tax office, address character sets and phone normalisation are validated up front so registrations don't fail at the registry.

The registry's ~24h transfer clock

Transfers activate on the registry's ~24h clock. The API reports the expected activation time and fires a webhook when the domain goes live.

How a reseller gets started

Live in three steps.

Request access

A WHMCS reseller account and an API key, pinned to your server IP, are issued for you.

Top up credit

Load prepaid credit. Operations settle from that balance automatically.

Call the API

Call /v1/domains/{domain}/register|transfer|renew. Operations settle from credit and return the registry outcome synchronously.

Security & access model

Per-reseller API keys

Issued as bearer tokens, shown once, revocable.

Per-key IP allowlist

The API is unreachable from any non-allowlisted address. TLS 1.2+ only.

Signed webhooks

Signed with HMAC-SHA256 and delivered with retries.

Access & pricing

aakapi is currently in early access and active testing. Reseller pricing is set per client group. The full documentation and a PDF reference are shared once your request is approved.

Do I need my own TRABIS accreditation?

No. Every operation runs against a BTK-accredited registrar's production TRABIS integration. You only integrate with aakapi.

Is this different from AAK's normal domain services?

Yes. aakapi (lowercase) is the .tr automation API for resellers, distinct from AAK's retail / WHMCS domain services.

Which extensions are supported?

18 .tr extensions — .com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr, .gen.tr, .web.tr, .av.tr, .dr.tr, .bel.tr, .k12.tr, .edu.tr and others.

How does billing work?

Prepaid credit. Real invoices are issued, every operation auto-settles from the balance, and live balance plus a per-operation ledger are visible through the API.
